I don’t know about anyone else but I was exhausted yesterday and I know that I didn’t put in the same amount of work that our kids have over the last week. I don’t think we could be prouder of the 2019 Lancers for their effort last week in rehearsals and the effort in every performance in each parade last weekend.
A couple quick thank you’s to extend today to our parade chaperones. It was a great group each day with a mix of rookie and veteran chaperones whose support was greatly appreciated by the students. I hope that those who volunteered will continue to do so in seasons to come.

The last item of note I want to talk about is Pie in the Park on June 25th. I will be sending out the nuts and bolts about the event tomorrow. This will include the itinerary already available on the calendar here on the website and volunteer sign ups for helping set up, serve, and clean up! Just like Meet the Lancers volunteering I promise you won’t miss the Lancers performance that night if you choose to help out! Make sure you share the Facebook event on your social media to get the word out! We have hot dogs and brats with Pepsi to drink along with everyone’s favorite pie and ice cream!
