Spat Camp, Snacks, Meet the Lancers, & Volunteering!

Good Morning Lancers and Families,

If you happened to miss the news last night raffle tickets are now available for pick up. You can pick them up this afternoon at Heidi Bednarchuk's house at 148 W. Glencrest Drive from Noon to 4:30 pm. Then tickets will be available at Jen Besel's house at 116 Torrey Pines Drive from 5:00 - 10:00 pm. After today tickets won't be available until Sunday at the beginning of SpatCamp. Tickets will be available every day during Spat Camp in the Parent Board Room #104 at Mankato East High School.

With Spat Camp starting on Sunday we are asking all families to donate snacks during the week. The students will be given snack times during the morning and afternoon. Attached to this email is a list of suggested snacks for the Lancers. Please bring enough for approximately 40 students when you sign up for a spot. Are you ready to Meet the Lancers?  I know many people in the community are ready to Meet the Lancers!  But we need a lot of volunteer help to set up, serve, and clean up in different areas throughout the evening.  Please volunteer for any shift you can to help make Meet the Lancers the awesome event it is each year!

We guarantee that you will not miss any performance that night if you volunteer.

There are many different areas we can use help so please sign up today!

Also parade chaperone sign ups will start on Sunday. We will be using online sign ups for this as well. It is a great experience that every Lancer parent should have at least once!

I hope to see some of you parents during the week at Spat Camp. Please come in any time and say Hi to any of the Parent Board members in Room #104 at the high school. Also while you are there you can see your Lancer working on the show leading up to Meet the Lancers and then Lake Crystal on Friday! The green flag is about to drop on The Race!
