Good Morning Everyone,
Thank you to those who helped last night at the Disturbed concert taking tickets. Things went very smoothly with the large crowd that was there for the concert. Now we move on to working many events here in the next month down at Riverfront Park. I talked with Mat from the Civic Center and he will be asking us to help at just about every event the rest of the outdoor concert season helping take tickets. During Ribfest there will be the addition of helping usher the reserved seating areas in the Vetter Stone Amphitheater.
Here are the sign ups for the concerts at Ribfest:
Each of these nights you will need to report by 4:30 pm at Riverfront Park at the ticket office by the entrance to the park. They are asking that every worker to please wear Lancer branded shirts for our uniforms those nights. Just like the Civic Center workers will need to be 16 years old. Also they ask us to be mindful of weather conditions so please look at the weather forecast before reporting to work, that way you can dress for the weather and if it is very warm please bring a water bottle with you.
There are at least two more outdoor concerts in August to work before the end of the season. The concert dates at Mankato Civic Center are starting to pile up as well for the month of October. We will be working most all of those dates as well. Also don't forget MSU football will be starting up in September as well with their first home game on September 14th. Thank you everyone for your help at all of these events!
