News & Notes

No pun intended in the title of the blog post today but I’m excited to hear some notes from the Lancers again tomorrow! I just wanted to catch up and check in with everyone on a few things coming up on the calendar in the next week before Mini-Tour heads out next Saturday morning!

This Weekend

This weekend’s events are all relaxed and will be enjoyable for sure! Tomorrow the parade in St. Clair is not a competitive parade so you won’t have to stick around for an awards ceremony following the parade. This will be a treat because the Lancers don’t normally get a chance outside of the North Mankato Fun Days Parade to march in a celebration type parade. So, come and enjoy the parade and maybe get some candy while you watch! I hope after that many of you will join the Lancers at the Mankato Moondogs for their pre-game performance and then will stick around for the game. Look back at this post https://www.77lancers.com/news/what-a-weekend-whats-next to see how to buy tickets online for the game!

Pie in the Park

Pie in the Park is coming up on Tuesday evening which is a great annual event held in Sibley Park. There are still some volunteer spots available so check and see if you can help us out! https://www.signupgenius.com/go/8050e4ba4af28aafb6-pieinthe

Also please remember we are asking all families for two baked pies to donate to this event. Lynn Waterbury sent out an email the other day about when and where to bring those pies. If you have any questions about that night or about pies please contact her at lmwaterbury@hotmail.com with any questions.

Raffle Tickets

Raffle tickets will be available both tonight and Sunday evening from my house at 306 West 10th Street in West Mankato. Please text me at 507-995-1063 if you plan on coming over so I know to expect you. I say text because I’m a terrible call screener if I don’t recognize a phone number.

Turn-In & Tour Talk

Raffle ticket turn in and Tour Talk will be taking place Wednesday, June 26th at East High School. Ticket turn in will happen in the cafeteria beginning at 4:30 pm and end before Tour Talk at 7:00 pm. Final tour payments are due that evening as well. Please bring all sold and unsold raffle tickets to turn in that evening.

If you have any questions on your Lancers account please contact Kim Schanbacher at lancertreasurer@gmail.com

Those are today’s tidbits from me. I hope to see everyone at the parade and Moondogs tomorrow night!
